Pre-season Friendlies – August 2021…

Saturday 24th July – Newent RFC took part in a 7’s Tournament hosted by Gordon League RFC.
7th August – Newent 1st XV & Newent Phoenix team will be playing away at Hereford RFC. There will be an early KO -so both teams can watch the Lions test match at the Hereford Club House.
14th August – return fixture- the Stade de Rec will welcome Hereford 1st & 2nds
21st August – Newent 1st XV will be away at Drybrook

FIXTURES FOR THE 2021/2022 SEASON…

1st Game of the season -Newent 1st XV play North Petherton at Home on the 4th September 2021.
Newent 1sts will be playing in the Tribute South West 1 West League (Level 6)
Newent’s opponents in this league will be North Petherton, Stroud, Old Pats, Thornbury, Lydney, Keynsham,
Sidmouth, Devonport, St Austell, Crediton, Wellington, Bridgwater & Chew Valley
Newent Phoenix play Old Patesians II on the 25th September.
They have joined the league at level 10 -Gloucester 2 North . Their opponents this coming season will be -Bredon Star, Old Patesians II, Westbury on Severn, Cheltenham Civil Service, Tewkesbury, Minchinhampton, Painswick, Norton, Cheltenham II, Old Cryptians II & Stroud II
